Utterly Engaged Party!

We set up a booth at the Utterly Engaged ( Party on Wednesday evening. Even though it was POURING rain, the turn-out was amazing! We had a lash bar, and glued on over 100 pairs of lashes that night! Here's the link about the party: More pic's to follow......

Ok, so I LOVE Lady Gaga!!!! I had the chance to work on her first video, "Just Dance," with LA makeup artist, Donald Simrock. It was so much fun, and I loved the song (since you have to hear it over and over while shooting a music video). This was early last year.....

Carina’s Favorite Things

By Sheila

Whenever I visit a makeup artist, I always have to ask them to tell me their favorite products. I love hearing their recommendations — it’s like a little sneak peek into the magic behind the scenes!

Carina from Flawless Faces was kind enough to clue me in on some of her most trusted products and tools.

1.Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer for a daily basis. Carina loves this TM because it gives a polished look to the face and lasts throughout the day.

2. MAC’s #252 brush for applying color on the eyelid.

3. MAC”s #217 brush for blending in the crease.

4. False lashes for that added glam for brides and for those going out for a special occassion. For an easier option than putting on a full strip, Carina recommends cutting them in half and applying them on the outer corners of the lid.

5. For an eyeshadow base, Carina only uses MAC’s Studio Finish Concealer. Considering her work looks like this, I’d say that totally works!

6. PCA Skincare. Carina uses this dermatological line, and her skin happens to look incredible. In particular, she uses their ExLinea Peptide Smoothing Serumaround her eye area, and it has helped stave off fine lines and wrinkles.

Thank you for the peek into your kit, Carina!
