Black Eyes
Trend: Heavy-rimmed black eyes that are matte, not greasy, created with a steady hand and many layers to extend the rocker look.
Spring 2010: Prabal Gurung paired ultra-dark eyes with his new must-have cocktail dresses.
Fall 2009: Yigal Azrouël paired striking eyes with his tough fall looks.

Loud Brows
Trend: Defined brow—whether bold, elongated, ultra-thick, or completely gone, the brow will be a focal point through the seasons.
Spring 2010: L.A.M.B showcased rockabilly retro with bold brows to stand out with lined eyes.
Fall 2009: Tuleh, Ann Demeulemeester, D&G all had brows take over to create a strong face without going overboard.

Bare Face
Trend: The no-makeup makeup look, using subtle coloring ranging from nude, peach and rose, on eyes, lips, and cheeks to look natural, slightly flushed, but put together.
Spring 2010 Runway: BCBG Max Azria debuted dewy fresh faces in nudes with a slight peachy flush on the cheek and slightly on the crease of the lids.
Fall 2009: Phi, Burberry, and Vera Wang had flawless faces with slight coloring from a nude palette to sharpen the face.
